Will Obama Voters Stay Involved in Politics?

I was inspired by this article to pose a question. As it says in the article, in 2009 Obama's healthcare bill faced tremendous opposition from tea party groups at town hall meetings with their representatives. This is a fantastic example for our democracy: The people did not like what they saw their government doing, and they spoke up to stop it. Many Democrats dislike the current tax policy, but will they be as effective as the tea party in vocalizing and changing it? Thoughts?

Hopefully. If the momentum the left has had over the recent months is any telling sign, it will either scream to a halt or continue.
I think it depends on the age group. I feel that the younger generation of voters won't be as involved with political issues, but that middle aged and older voters will.
I'm not too sure they will vocalize about it. I mean, the members of the Tea Party are more intense than your average democrat, and your average democrat or any U.S. voter is not super involved in the government. I'm sure a select few will for sure, but as for enough to bring about a lot of attention, I'm no so sure.
