Who gets tax cuts?
Slowly but surely, the poll results are coming in. Granted the accuracy of polls is shaky, however a recent study done by George Washington University has shown that small business owners are now favoring the incumbent President Barack Obama over former Governor Mitt Romney, 47%-39%, a stunning blow to the Romney campaign.
During the poll 6,415 small business owners were questioned. Of that, over 40% of them said that more jobs and a stronger economy was most important to them. Other closely important issues included balancing the budget and dealing with the national debt and the costs of healthcare.
Republicans have often sighted that Obama does not know the inner working of a business because he has never owned or operated a small business, however as President he cut taxes for small businesses over a dozen times. Meanwhile, Mitt Romney declared a one trillion dollar tax cut for the biggest corporations, hoping to make more capital available to stimulate the economy, and according to Forbes, it should work.
Which is better? That's for you to decide. Make your voice heard on November 4th.
