No Hispanic Support for McCain

Check out this article-- McCain only won 31% of the hispanic vote! The author notes that the economy, immigration, education, and healthcare were some issues that the Republican party failed to overcome.

Just shows how important it is for each candidate to appeal to every culture group...as they are growing larger and larger each year (especially the hispanics in our country).

the cuban support, which is generally republican was much more even this year as well. Tyler is right, it is becoming more and more important to appeal to minorities.

To be honest I think, as racist as it may sound. The hispanics wanted a person of another color inside the white house. I don't know why we are so around the bush with this, the fact is Obama being president is progress for the United States. Progress in civil rights as well as a number of other things. I'm not surprised by this number and I would be surprised if anyone was.

That's really interesting considering Hispanic males especially tend to vote conservative.

Well it's safe to say that many hispanics are on the bottom shelf of the classes. I'm not racist, well... Anyways I'm sure they easily bought into the "Change" that Obama had as a slogan. Believing that there may be more opportunities for them.

I apologize for my previous post. I was not trying to imply that all hispanics struggle. However researches have shown results that put a vast majority of hispanics in the lower class.

i am not going to lie, i will bet money that i have seen trevor change more than i will see obama "change" it is a total joke. It's sad to see a president backed by ignorance of most americans...heading back into change--if all it takes is change to lead a powerhouse country, then trevor may as well be president..that man is willing to change before everyone

Yes, I portray it as a Gentleman's Challenge to see if Obama will be a better President than Bush

It's a fair question...one we may not be able to answer for maybe another couple years.

The question is, who would win in a fight? I would put my paycheck on Obama.
