Policies left Unchallenged
As the sup prime mortgage crisis grips America and the rest of the world time passes quickly by. The presidential election is only a month away and other issues are still waiting to be thoroughly discussed. The economic crisis will eventually pass and the other policies that the presidential candidates support will be left unchallenged. There are other issues that the American public is concerned worth as well. I’m not arguing that the economic crisis isn’t going to leave its mark on history; I believe that other issues should be at least given a little bit of room considering the election is less than a month away.

i agree but the economic crisis is something that wont be completely cleared in 4 or probably even 8 years of office so it is a major issue.
i agree that perhaps there is too much emphasis on the economic crisis and that other issues should be addressed. at the same time, though, the economy is always going to be a huge issue to discuss. what is going on right now is something that the future president is going to most likely be dealing with throughout their term in office.
The economy was hurting from housing for 4-5 years...so obviously its not going to be solved overnight.
